Business China CEO Tin Pei Ling attended the First China-Singapore Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum organised by the China Enterprises Association (CEA) (Singapore). On behalf of Business China, Ms Tin signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Mr Cheng Jun, President of CEA (Singapore) to deepen the collaboration with China Enterprises Association.
Together with Ms Sun Xueling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of National Development, Ms Sun and his Excellency Hong Xiaoyong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Singapore, Ms Tin also witnessed the signing of MOUs between CEA (Singapore) and other associations.
Ms Tin graced the gala dinner with a speech outlining the closer collaboration between Singapore and China as well as between Business China and CEA (Singapore). She looks forward to closer collaboration with the member companies of CEA (Singapore) for the Youth Intern Exchange Scheme (YES) that encourages the exchange of the young talents between Singapore and China especially in the new economy companies.
The celebration continued with a cake cutting ceremony onstage by Ms Tin, CEA President Cheng, Ambassador Hong Xiaoyong, Managing Director of Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd Mr Teo Siong Seng and Minister-Councellor Zhong Manying to celebrate CEA’s 20th anniversary.
At the end of the dinner, Ms Tin also witnessed the cheque presentation ceremony in which CEA (Singapore) has raised for charity.
