On 27 Jan 2020, Business China Chairman Mr Lee Yi Shyan and CEO Ms Tin Pei Ling celebrated Chinese New Year with an over 800-strong crowd at the Spring Reception, jointly organised by Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.
The Guest-of-Honour for 2020 Spring Reception was Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Mr Heng Swee Keat. He has urged all Singaporeans to work together, transform our economies and strike for a better future for ourselves and next generation. While combating the challenge from the Wuhan virus, DPM Heng urged every Singaporean to harness Singapore’s diversity to build our strength to move forward together as a nation. By launching the Singapore Together movement last year, he hopes to “mobilise Singaporeans to come forward and work with us and one another. To contribute their passion and expertise in causes they care for”.
